Certificate III in Barbering – SHB30516

The Certificate III in Barbering will give you the confidence and ability to provide a variety of barbering services to your clients. This course includes all of the core skills of Hairdressing with specialist training in Barbering Skills such as classic haircuts, scissor and clipper over comb techniques, beard sculpting, head and face shaving and men’s grooming.

If you are interested in a career within the hairdressing industry that focuses specifically on Men’s Barbering techniques, this is the qualification for you.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

To fulfil the requirements of this qualification, students are expected to demonstrate a range of skills within a hairdressing or barbering salon.  This is available to students at the Clip Joint Education Salon where they will be able to apply their skills and knowledge by engaging with and providing services to members of the public.

DELIVERY

The Certificate III in Barbering is delivered through a combination of classroom and practical based delivery within the Student Salon at Clip Joint Education, 86 Gawler Place Adelaide SA 5000

Duration: Full Time – 4 days per week for 12 months. Part Time – 3 days per week for 15 months

Employment Pathway: Qualified Barber

This program is available through apprenticeship arrangements through the Government of South Australia’s WorkReady initiative of which Clip Joint Education is an approved WorkReady Training Provider.
