This course is perfect for those wanting an introduction into Hairdressing. Whether you are currently at School or looking to “try it out” before making the full commitment, this course will be able to provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to understand the Hairdressing world, as well as allowing you the opportunity to gain competency in some units that will count toward the full Certificate III in Hairdressing SHB30416.
Upon Successful completion of this program you will receive a Statement of Attainment in the Certificate III in Hairdressing SHB30416. Please see below for the units that are included in this program.
The Partial Certificate III in Hairdressing is made up of the following units of competency:
- SHBXWHS001 Apply Safe hygiene, health and work practices
- SHBHDES003 Create finished hair designs
- SHBHDES004 Create long classic long hair up-styles
- SHBHCCS001 Plan services for special events
- SHBHTRI001 Identify and treat hair and scalp conditions
- BSBSUS201 Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices
Participants who successfully achieve competency in the above units, will receive a Statement of Attainment in the Certificate III in Hairdressing SHB30416.
The following information is applicable to SACE students who are wishing to undertake this course through VET in School arrangements.
QUAL CODE: SHB30416 (This program will provide you with a Statement of Attainment in the Certificate III in Hairdressing)
DURATION: 1 day per week for 30 weeks
INTAKES: February each year.
KIT: You will be able to purchase additional tools and resources from Clip Joint Education that will build on the Certificate II in Salon Assistant Hair Kit.
