VET: Introduction to Hairdressing
The Introduction to Hairdressing is available for students who are interested in exploring a hairdressing career. The short course provides graduates with basic hairdressing development skills and will help the students decide whether they would like to continue their studies in hairdressing.
The included units are at a Level II and on completion; students will receive up to 10 SACE Credits for Stage 1. If students decide to continue studies after completion of this short course, the units may be available for credit transfer or recognised prior learning for Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics (SHB20116), Certificate II in Salon Assistant (SHB20216) or Certificate III in Hairdressing (SHB30416) via School Based Apprenticeship (SBA).
